Exercise helps increase energy expenditure, which in turn leads to higher calorie expenditure and fat loss BUT only if:
A calorie deficit is achieved❗
That means you're eating fewer calories than your body burns on a daily basis.

So if you really want to lose weight, you need to be in a calorie deficit with your diet. A poor diet cannot be "out run", but a sedentary lifestyle can theoretically be "out eaten". Nevertheless, an active lifestyle makes losing weight a lot easier!
