Most people think jiu-jitsu is about movement.
I think it's more accurate to say it's about tension.
Create tension. Manage tension. Release tension.
Pull and they push. Push and they pull.
The reaction is usually more important than the initial action.
The longer I've trained, the less I feel like I'm forcing techniques and the more I feel like I'm guiding reactions.
