Patten Hill Guide Service will be conducting a turkey hunting class April 4th in Temple NH at The Grouse Woods at Red Gate Farm, 140 Webster Hwy. This full day class 8:30-3:00 will include class room and field work, encompassing turkey biology and identifying Toms, Jakes and Hens, NH Fish&Game rules and regulations, camouflage and blinds, scouting, the different turkey calls and calling techniques, how to pattern your shotgun, decoy use and spring/fall turkey hunting. Cost is $135 and will include continental breakfast and a hot lunch. This class is for the beginner turkey hunter or anyone wishing to improve their chances of bagging a big tom this year. Taught by Licensed NH Guide Gordon Webber, we are fortunate to have the use of the lodge at The Grouse Woods at Red Gate Farm and the surrounding grounds.
