Antrim Yacht Club Fans: I do believe I and a few friends will head up to Gregg Lake on Sunday, sometime after 1PM, to cook and chat and swim? maybe sail? and have a lazy, end-of-Summer afternoon by the water. (It would also be nice to have a bit of "official" AYC discussion for those interested.) YES, it's been a while, but I haven't given up on AYC - just needed a break. And now I've had one, so there! FB message me or just show up, no stress, easy peasy. I WILL bring charcoal and whatever bush meat I can harvest along the way. I have a hunch a garden salad will appear as well. BYO whatever, bring nothing, bring something, bring h***h, bring your hooochie, bring your boat, bring your goat, bring your bad-ass pirate costume... whatever - just bring it, or just show up the way you are!! Avenue A Teen Center is hosting the Antrim Community Supper this month! Join us Thursday at Gregg Lake Beach @5:30pm. Burgers, dogs, and local garden veggies are on the menu.

Anyone who'd like to volunteer should call Ave A at 588-3334, send a FB message, or just show up at 4:30pm on Thursday!

Results, July 21 Antrim Outlaw

We ran a HS with a A start and a B start. We also ran a GS from the top. Both races were jam format with the best for the win. I am only showing each racers best two times. Grant is a first year racer, fell early in the day, dusted himself off and kept on riding. Elliot came out and rode with me a couple of times last season, but basically it is his first season as well, he is picking up the sport quickly. Dave had a hard fall near the end of the day, heal up fast my friend! It was a great day and fun to see everyone working hard to improve.

Sailors,

I am booked this weekend, but would encourage any of you to POST any plans you make for sailing on Facebook. If there's a little crowd for the regular Sunday afternoon... it's always nice to have company on the water and on the beach.

Also, we have people who can't make Sundays, so a Saturday group might make sense too - if anyone's going, let the group know.

FB is the best vehicle for notices until we get more organized with members/email/website. If you don't do FB, I'll bet you can find someone to post to the AYC page for you :-)
