Initially this started as just a game of two hand touch in the back yard on a Saturday afternoon. We had so much fun that we invited a few more kids to play the following week-end. Word spread like wild fire between Antioch HS and Lake HS. We were getting tweets from kids we didn't even know asking to play. We now have referee's, commentators, photographers and actual you tube video play by plays.

Our Back yard Football League has grown from 9 kids to 56 kids in one month. We hope it continues to grow, Back Yard Football League is for anyone who wants to play football between the ages of 14-16 yrs and is available on Saturday afternoons. Parents, I created this FB page mainly for us (the parents) since the kids post everything on twitter. I recommend following them on twitter too.
If you have the opportunity please take pictures of your boys before, during or after a game and post them to this site. I try to take pictures every Saturday if my schedule allows it. If you can't make a game you can catch all the highlights and updates on youtube by searching BFL Updates.

We are all very blessed that our kids have such a great group of friends..
