PET REIKI — 30 minutes | $60
Pet Reiki through offers gentle, individualized energetic support for animals who may be experiencing stress, transitions, changes in their well-being—or who could simply use a little extra nurturing and care.
Each 30-minute session begins with a brief conversation about the animal, how they have been doing, and anything their guardian would particularly like support with. Before beginning Reiki, Kathrine uses her skills as an animal communicator to introduce herself to the animal, ask permission to work with them, and learn how they are most comfortable receiving the energy. Some animals enjoy hands-on Reiki, while others prefer a little space, and the animal is always allowed to help guide the session.
From there, Kathrine offers Reiki based on the animal's individual needs and preferences. This may include hands-on or hands-off energy work, attention to particular areas the animal draws her toward, and checking or balancing the chakras and energy field as appropriate.
The final few minutes allow time to check in with the guardian. Kathrine will share any impressions or observations that arose during the session, as well as anything that may be helpful to know going forward.
Kathrine's approach brings together Reiki, animal communication and intuitive energy work, along with her experience working and volunteering with animals in shelter and animal-welfare settings. This combination helps her meet each animal as an individual, with particular attention to their comfort, boundaries and preferences. Each session becomes a collaboration with the animal rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
