Every year the WWA teams' fish 5 qualifier tournaments to earn Team Of The Year (TOTY) honors. Teams are allowed to drop their worst tournament out of the five. Every fish matters, every placement matters and every point matters down to the last tournament! This year TOTY was separated by 1 point! Congratulations to Casey Felling and Trevor Wood for taking home TOTY honors with 1700 total points. They beat out John Fallaw and Trevor Chirsman who accumulated 1699 points. Great job by both teams. It was an incredible year with some of the best anglers in the country and went right down to the wire! Each team is allowed one sub for the year. Unfortunately - Trevor Wood was not able to fish the last tournament this weekend due to back surgery and was not available to receive TOTY honors in person but had Dan Labus there to step in. The WWA is open to all anglers and is looking forward to growing for the 2027 season! Thank you to all our sponsors that make this possible.!

Qualifier #5 is in the books and that concludes the 2026 WWA Season. Congratulations to Slawomir Wiater and Pawel Tomas for taking home first place with an impressive 32.83 pounds on a difficult bite! Great job by Casey Felling/Dan Labus and Michael Hall/Michael Jarzebski for bringing home a plaque for 2nd and 3rd place finishes! Max Klicker/Michael Venet took 10th place and received two custom WWA signs donated by Genoa City Heating and Cooling and Sean Pettibone/Thomas Wagner took home $300 for 13th place (half-way finish) donated by WLVP. Thank you too all that attended! Looking forward to the 2027 season.
