This past Saturday my wife and her best friend had plans to go do their annual Art In The Park craft show so I did a solo trip and got rewarded for grinding all day. The morning I couldn't get a musky to show up if I paid them. It was a touch breezy all day and all of my "Milk Run" spots didn't produce even though I know they were there. So mid afternoon I went back on one of my spots and tucked way back in about two feet of water this long slender battler all out smashed my 10" Suick on the second pull. I haven't looked at the footage from the cameras yet but should be pretty cool 🤞🏽

About 45 minutes later in I had one blow up and miss my Suick twice and the third time it came up I dropped the ball and missed em. (Can't win them all) 😉

The funny part of the day was there were about fifteen or so musky boats out there which most left by 11:30 and by 1:00 I had the lake all to myself. Hmmmm that doesn't happen too often. But it goes to show you that no matter how tough it is just keep casting. It could be that next cast that lands you a fish.

Water temps are in the low 60's and there were a few guys soaking suckers. Fall is just about here.
