Starting to make the right moves.

Making some tune adjustments and hardware adjustments.

Then try again. I was a little trigger happy on the diverter this time around.

She started to settle as just before I got out of it.

We went testing to see if we can tame this beast.

We are getting closer.

Shes still getting wilderness the top end and today she was drowning in fuel.

Timing to retune and make some more adjustments.

We will tame her soon enough and wen that happen we will really open her up.

Gone with the Winds new motor 545BBF just college beer funnel chugged 8Qt of oil.

And now she is home.

Just have to finish hooking things up and reprogram the Ignition.

And then she will be ready to rock into Tuning the boat hull.

We are very Happy to get out beautifully rebuilt Jet-A-Way back from David Wheeler at Hi-Tech performance.

David and his team really take care of the Hot boat community.

Less than 2 weeks its back and better than before.

Freshly polished, gone through, new Big Dog clutch put in with ARP 12-Pt fasteners.

We are putting in it next and then the Motor.

Motor is out one last time.

Checking the bottom end after the dyno pulls.

Didnt see anything in the filter.

Replacing the remain seal with a Kaase One piece.

Also we are running new headers so new plug wires and wire holders now. Much cleaner look if I do say so.

Motor also came back out so we can install the upgraded Jetaway to handle the power the new motor is making before and on nitrous.

Should have it back together by the weekend.

Then we have to finalize some other changes.

New Pump pressure gauges and Oil temp.

Along with new switch panel and push start location.

Making the boat On the rope ready!.

"Gone with the Wind"'s new 545 BBF hit the Dyno.

She was set on killer from my base tune.

But battled a issue on the pulls. Same issue I felt in the boat.

Came down to a bad Cranktrigger pick up.

She made a great clean pull.

Then we wanted a little more so added some timing and fuel.

She made a healthy 877hp at 6700rpms.

Will be around 900hp at 7000rpms.

We called it after 10 pulls on the motor.

Its time to get it ready to go back in the boat.
