Today, we remember. ❤️

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that emerged on one of our country’s darkest days.

We also remember what followed - the way people reached for one another. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers showed kindness to strangers. Communities gathered, grieved and held one another a little closer.

Twenty-five years later, may we honor those we lost not only by remembering, but by carrying some of that love forward.

May we choose kindness. May we take care of one another. May we remember how much we need each other.

Never forget. 🇺🇸

💜 Here’s to the work that makes us stronger.

Labor Day began as a celebration of American workers and the labor movement - honoring the people whose work, advocacy and persistence helped shape things many of us now take for granted, like safer workplaces and more reasonable working hours.

And today, while we honor that history, we’re also thinking about a different kind of work.

The work we choose to do for ourselves. 💜💚

The miles we put in. The strength we build. The rest we allow ourselves to take. The friendships we make time for. The choice to keep showing up for our physical and mental well-being - even when life is already asking a LOT from us.

Sometimes work looks like an early morning run with friends. Sometimes it’s a long walk. Sometimes it’s stretching, resting and recovering. And sometimes it’s doing absolutely NOTHING on a three-day weekend because that’s exactly what you need. 🙌

So today, we’re celebrating the work AND the rest that keep us going.

How do you spend your Labor Day weekend? 🇺🇸 Do you have a yearly race, family cookout, long run, lake weekend, one-last-summer adventure... or a sacred tradition of doing as little as humanly possible? 😂
