| LVCTF MVPs & Top 10s |
We are proud to introduce our 2026 Team MVPs as well as our updated top 10 all-time marks for the outdoor season.
Men’s Track MVP: Leo Tirado
In his first year with the program, Leo positively impacted multiple aspects of the team including sprints, high jump and relays. At the indoor MACs, Leo was a spark plug finishing 2nd in the 200m, 3rd in the 60m, a leg of our winning 4x2 and we’ll throw in a 2nd place finish in the HJ as a bonus! Leo placed 2nd in the 4x1 and 4th in the 100m at outdoor MACs as well.
Women’s Track MVP: Ava Matter
All that she touches turns to gold! Gold in the indoor 200m, 4x2 & 4x4; gold in the outdoor 100m, 200m & 4x1. 3rd in the indoor 60m and outdoor 4x4. Throw in a bunch of school records and the MAC Track Athlete of the Year as Ava pretty much dominated the scene as only a sophomore.
Men’s Field MVP: Aonghas Evanick
As a graduate student, Aonghas sure kept himself busy and will go down as likely the best utility thrower in school history. This year alone, Aonghas earned a silver in the discus, 4th in the weight & hammer throw, as well as an 8th place in the indoor shotput. Throughout his career, he consistently overperformed at championships.
Women’s Field MVP: Anna Sawicki
The MAC multi-queen, Anna won both the pentathlon and heptathlon at MAC Championships, placed 6th at the NCAA DIII Indoor National Championships earning 1st Team All-America honors and 14th at the NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championships, earning 2nd Team All-America honors. Hard to top that!
