For more than 30 years, the Palmyra Junior Rifle Team has introduced hundreds of young people to the Olympic sport of rifle shooting, and the impact goes far beyond the range.

Over the years, the team has earned numerous accolades, championships, and titles, but its greatest achievements are measured in the young people whose lives have been positively influenced by the program.

The Third Annual Reception is an opportunity to celebrate 32 years of dedication, achievement, and investment in the next generation, and to recognize the athletes, families, coaches, supporters, and community members who have helped make this program so successful.

Through rifle shooting, these young athletes learn lessons that last a lifetime:

These are skills that help young people succeed not only in competition, but in school, careers, relationships, and everyday life.

Junior Rifle Team Reception. On October 4, 2026, from 12pm-5:00pm, the Palmyra Junior Rifle Team will host this exclusive event at the beautiful Hershey Italian Lodge, 128 Hillcrest road, Hershey PA 17033.

Today, we proudly celebrate America’s 250th Birthday.

For two and a half centuries, our nation has stood as a testament to the courage, determination, and sacrifice of the men and women who fought to secure our freedom. We remember our Founding Fathers, who risked everything to establish a nation built on liberty, individual rights, and the promise of self-government. Their vision and the sacrifices of generations of Americans who followed have preserved those freedoms for all of us.

As members of the Palmyra Sportsman’s Association, we recognize that our outdoor traditions, our Second Amendment rights, and the freedoms we enjoy today are part of the enduring legacy they entrusted to us. It is our responsibility to honor that legacy by preserving these values for future generations.

Today, as we gather with family and friends, let us reflect on the price of freedom, give thanks to those who have served and continue to serve our country, and celebrate the blessings of living in the United States of America.

From all of us at the Palmyra Sportsman’s Association, we wish everyone a safe, happy, and patriotic Independence Day as we celebrate 250 years of American freedom.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends today, may we take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day and honor those who gave everything for our freedom.

Thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend for the 2026 Bunny Blast at the Palmyra Sportsmen's Association!

We truly appreciate your support of our Young Guns Sporting Clays Team and the PSA. Over two days, we saw an incredible turnout, with more than 760 rounds shot and over 38,000 Wi******er White Flyer Targets (Rabbits) thrown!

Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our coaches, the support of our parents, and the hard work of our team members. Your commitment is what makes this all come together.

We hope everyone had a fantastic time, and we’re already looking forward to doing it again. Be sure to mark your calendars for 2027—we can’t wait to see you back on the course!
