Enjoyed the Publix Woodstock 5K this year? Come join us for the next-biggest event hosted by the Anniston Runners Club each year: the Plucked Turkey 10K. Turkey trots are getting bigger and bigger each year, and the Plucked Turkey 10K is no exception! Held in the Golden Springs neighborhood of Anniston every Thanksgiving morning, this year's 10K is set for 8:00 am on Thursday, November 26, 2026. You won't want to miss it! Last year had over 300 registered runners. Sign up now and come build your Thanksgiving appetite with a 10K run that morning. This race benefits the YMCA of Calhoun County.

The Publix Woodstock 5K has registrations for 2027 open now. They'll stay open for the rest of the year, but you won't want to miss our awesome opening price. The current rate is only available for a week, before increasing gradually throughout the year. $25 for the 5K, $15 for the Kidstock 1K. We are proud to say we had RECORD-BREAKING registration numbers for the first day! We hope everyone had a good time running, walking, volunteering, or spectating the Publix Woodstock 5K in Anniston, AL, in 2026! Did you have fun on Saturday? If so, why not sign up for next year? We are proud to announce that registration is OPEN for the 2027 edition of the race. Sign-ups are currently set at the low, low prices of $25 for the 5K and $15 for the Kidstock 1K. This opening price is available for one week only, before increasing. The theme for 2027 honors our event's history, as we make a "Return to A Midsummer's Morn." This references the original name of the race from 1981-1985. Join us on August 7, 2027, for another great race on Woodstock Avenue in Anniston! Always the first Saturday in August.
