Camp is next Saturday. Don't miss this one!

***CAMP REMINDER***

We will be hosting our annual Tough House Folkstyle camp on Saturday June 27th at Wellborn High School.

Our camp clinician will be 2X D1 All-American and Current Assistant Coach at Treehouse Wrestling Chip Ness. This camp is open to all ages but will be a little more advanced in nature. Also, for my parents of smaller weight youth kids, I urge you to try and bring a drill partner for your athlete.

1st Session: 9am-12pm. Technique based session.
Lunch 12pm-1pm. We will have snacks and drinks (water, Powerade, Gatorade, etc) but if you want anything additional, you will have to bring your own.
2nd session: 1pm-4pm. Intensive session. Your athletes will get a ton of live go's with the opportunity to get various different looks from different partners.

***SCHOOLS OUT, COME WRESTLE!***

Summer work makes winter champions! Now that school is out, it's time to get to work. Parents, if your kids are getting on your nerves around the house or if they need a healthy outlet to fill their time this summer, send them our way!

I've had lots of conversations with parents over the years about the benefits of wrestling and how those benefits are truly multi-faceted. Putting it simply, wrestling makes you better at other sports and wrestling makes you physically and mentally tougher. Feel free to hit me or Coach Riley Jefcoat up with any questions or concerns. We're ready to have an awesome Summer at Tough House Wrestling and we want you to be a part of it!

***SOUTHEAST REGIONALS RESULTS***

We had a small group in Duluth, GA over the weekend competing at Southeast Regionals. This is arguably the tonight Freestyle/Greco tournament in the Southeast and I couldn't be more proud of how our kids competed. Our kids were resilient in the face of some of the toughest competition we've seen this off season and the response was awesome. Lots of valuable lessons and experiences to bring back to the practice room. Next stop, Bootleggers in Gatlinburg!!

***DEEP SOUTH DUALS TEAMS***

We will be taking a K4 and Boys HS team for sure. We may do a Girls HS based on interest levels. We will fill weights with active Tough House members first, then with free agents as necessary to fill the teams. Below are the weights that we will need to fill. K4 will be 75$ for a spot, Boy and Girls HS will $65 for a spot. Money is due by July 15th. We will be doing singlets for these teams. Reach out to me or Riley Jefcoat if you are interested.

Our group competed yesterday at the TAYW Freestyle/Greco State Championships. A large portion of our group was brand new to freestyle and Greco and I couldn't be more proud of the progression and grit they've shown over the last month adapting and learning these new styles. SE Regionals up next!
