🥊 Announcing: Tough House Film Room

As of the 26–27 Folkstyle season, I'm officially offering a film review service for individual athletes and high school programs.

What does that mean for your athlete or your program?

Film review can be time-consuming and overwhelming for coaches and athletes if it's not approached with intentional focus. I'll partner with high school programs and work side-by-side with head coaches, parents, and athletes to give comprehensive, detailed breakdowns of match film — along with recommendations and feedback you can turn into actionable items in the room.

Wrestling is my life. Let me give you some of your time back and help fine-tune the little details that make the difference at the highest level. Spots are limited for the 26–27 season — reach out today.

***REGISTRATION FOR 26-27 YOUTH WRESTLING***

Thank you to everyone that came out to our first parent/interest meeting!

Registration is live and will cap at 50 wrestlers per campus. Registration will close on September 25th or when we hit 50 registrations, whichever happens first. First practice for both campuses will be Monday October 19th. If you are in the Calhoun, Talladega, Cleburne, St Clair, Etowah County area and you're serious about your athlete being a part of a program that will push them not only as an athlete but as a human being, this is where you need to be. Our goal at Tough House is to develop young wrestlers to not only compete at a state level but at a national/world level as well. All the while guiding them to be good hard working young men and women. Don't miss out on an opportunity to be a part of something special, get signed up today!

Congratulations to Zachary Hooks on receiving his first official offer to wrestle from Andrew College today! Zach has worked extremely hard over the last few years and we are extremely grateful to have him as a part of our program. Excited to watch him finish up his last year of high school wrestling and move on to bigger and better things!

***UPDATED TIMES***

***26-27 FOLKSTYLE SEASON***

We are preparing to wrap up another successful off-season here at the club and could not be more happy with the growth and progress our kids have made since March.

With that, it's now time to start prepping for the upcoming folkstyle season. We will be having our initial parent/interest meetings for both the Lincoln and Wellborn campuses this Sunday. The meeting for the Wellborn campus will be at 1pm at the Wellborn Wrestling room and then 3pm at the Lincoln HS Gym for the Lincoln campus. You WILL be able to sign your kids up and pay season fees at these meetings on Sunday. Registration will cap for both campuses at 50 athletes.

***HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT***

Over the past 3 years since our inception, our club and Lincoln Youth Wrestling have developed a wonderful relationship and have become like family. With that, I am extremely proud and grateful to finally announce that as of the 2026 Folkstyle Season we will be partnering with Lincoln Youth Wrestling in an official capacity and they will now operate as "Lincoln Tough House". Patrick Kirk, Sean Snyder, Kenny Howell and everyone else involved with the Lincoln Youth Program have truly built something special and I'm very excited to continue to build upon that foundation.

We will have a parent/interest meeting at the end of August where we will share competition schedule, costs, practice time, etc... I will share the time and place for that meeting once we get those confirmed. Registration will open on Monday Aug 31st and will cap at 50 as has been done in the past. ***DEEP SOUTH POST***

Man what a weekend! We took a K4 and Boys HS Dual team into an absolutely loaded field at Deep South. I couldn't be more proud of how our kids competed from the individuals all the way through Sunday where HS finished strong. We had some injuries on our HS team and were taking some forfeits on our K4 team but still managed to win some duals. It was awesome to see our kids have success and navigate that environment. We know exactly where we stand with the best in the country and know exactly where we need to continue improving. We are off this week for some rest and recovery then it's back to the drawing board!
