My Zumba Family 💃🏽🤍🍿
For over 15 years, we have danced together. We’ve sweated together. We’ve raised money for causes, celebrated milestones, and shown up for each other again and again.
This past Friday, you showed UP for Anniston High School at our Zumbathon — and I am so grateful. Truly. You reminded me why this community is so special.
I want to share something else that’s on my heart.
At my new school, many of my students have never traveled out of state. Some have never experienced opportunities outside of their immediate surroundings. I’m working to take our Culture Club to Orlando — not just for fun, but for exposure. For vision. For inspiration.
You all know what Zumba did for me. It expanded my world. It connected me to people beyond my zip code. It gave me confidence and bigger dreams.
That’s what I want for them.
As an immigrant, I know what it means to see new possibilities and think differently about your future. I want my students — especially those in a rural, predominantly Black community — to see that their dreams are valid, possible, and worth chasing.
We just danced for them. Now I’m asking… would you consider purchasing one bag of popcorn to help offset the cost of this educational trip?
The popcorn store closes Tuesday at 6am CT.
If you’ve ever believed in me… if you’ve ever believed in what we build together through movement and community… this is another way to make impact.
It takes a village.
And y’all have always been mine. 💃🏽🤎🍿✈️
Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving these kids.
