You Tube horticulturist, Brie, the plant lady was our entertainment and gave lesson on gardening at our April meeting. We gave awards to master gardeners that make our association a success and run smoothly. We got our handbook that has info of over 300 master gardeners. We worked on getting the new greenhouse up and running with many gardeners offering to help after the meeting. Offered tickets to Southlake garden tour.

What fun it is to garden in the spring at Town of Annetta. Interns are really eager to learn. I gave PPT on Ornamental grasses that Steve Chaney let me borrow. It went well.

Our Valentines Day Parker County master gardener Association meeting for February included a talk from Carol Welch, once in our association, on Bromeliads and orchids. It was so nice to see her and to hear about the plants we love. We had new photos made, awards given to those that missed the January meeting.

We have grown our own plants from seed and nurtured them in our greenhouse to sell to the public. The best plants ever.

Parker County Master Gardeners Christmas party for 2025, was so fun. We gave awards, retired two long time members, opened and stole gifts, ate really good food, and installed new officers for next year. Thank you to Cat for the Santa hats, bells, etc. to help us get into the spirit. Special recognition to two gardeners that got their certification for advanced training. We voted on the Master Gardener of the year award.

Rolf and I went to Union Gospel Mission to take his Santa's beard to the next Santa at the mission. I had a sudden burst of energy and walked the whole property and took pictures. It was very nostalgic for me to see how plants have grown and what new plants the master Gardeners have planted. The mission was decorated for Christmas!

Tarrant County Master Gardeners at our meeting in June 2025. Projects bring gardening items for a silent auction. I have had items from benches, plants, pots, hanging baskets, etc. for Union Gospel Mission each year. This year we had an arrangement of variegated hibiscus in planter and some specialized horticulture books. We use the money from the highest bidder to help with expenses at our projects. It is a very fun day to see what each project brings to raise funds. There are 23 different gardens/areas that are available to get hours to recertify.
