We haven’t talked about our fundraiser in a while. We just started regionals, but we have another one coming up, and a nationals after that. So let’s try to win someone some money and help pay for registration fees. Let me know if you want a square for your chance to win $5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ 💰💵🤑

We will be doing a squares board for a fundraiser. The proceeds will go to pay for the entry fees for the regionals and nationals Jameson will be racing at this year. Any remaining money will go towards new safety equipment.

This year’s first regional is in the books. And it was filled with some ups and downs. There were 19 Jr Honda and 12 Jr animal racers. Jameson was able to finish third in his Jr Honda heat, but had some trouble in the Jr animal. He ended up starting towards the front of the B main for Jr Honda, but unfortunately, his troubles remained, and he did not advance to the A main. He did get to start in the A main for Jr Animal, but as the very last starting spot, 12th. He made some moves that we were so proud of, and was able to pull out a hard fought finish when the race timed out after 30 minutes. Overall, a lot of learning, which is good since we will be back for nationals in a few short weeks.

Jr Honda:
Heat: started 2, finished 3
B main: started 3, finished 8

Jr Animal:
Heat: started 3, finished 6
A main: started 12, finished 8

Did not tear anything up or get black flagged. Just need to keep working on basics. So a great weekend.

Next week we are back at our home track of ALQMA.

Finally the sun is peaking out!

Well that was interesting. 🤪 We got to the track, but it had rained a lot before we got there. We almost got to the concrete. Instead, we got stuck. 😳 Thanks for the help of lots of racing families, we got her out. Now we just need better luck tomorrow.
