I am honored by yesterday's endorsement by the Caucus of African American leaders, a valued and creative force in our city for inclusiveness, equality, and justice. Among factors considered was my strong support of the Nondiscrimination Ordinance in the face of my opponent's vote against it.
My other endorsements include those by past and present elected officials Senator Chris Van Hollen, Congressman John Sarbanes, Speaker Mike Busch, Senator Gerald Winegrad, Councilman Chris Trumbauer, Mayor Josh Cohen, Alderman Jared Littmann, Alderman Ian Pfeiffer, and Alderman Carl Snowden.
