..After signing the Armistice with France on June 22, 1940, Adolf took a walk through the places where he was stationed during WW1 with his former comrades, in photo 1, he is in the Cathedral of Laon, northern France ,to his left,Max Amann,sergeant of the 16th Bavarian Infantry Regiment (ie Adolf's sergeant) during WW1 and Reichsleiter of the press during WW2 the 2nd highest political rank in the Party and director of the Party publishing house ..On the other side, Ernst Schmidt, who became Captain of the SA and later was mayor of Garching (Bavaria) and district chief of the Party in 1942..In photo 2, Adolf's entourage heading to his old quarters in Fournes in Weppes (northern France) where he is seen again with his old comrades.
