They played hard, competed all season long, and earned the top spot in the standings. And one thing is certain—they look pretty good in red! ❤️⚾

⚾️🎓Tribute to ANSLL’s 12-year-olds 🎓⚾️ Charlie F and Noah R’s baseball journey began in the spring of 2021 with Team Blue Lightning. The team stayed together for two full years under Coach McGuire, progressing through both Coach Pitch and Machine Pitch as a group.

Together, they learned the fundamentals of the game—hitting, running, and fielding—but they also developed teamwork, camaraderie, and friendships that extended well beyond the baseball field. Many of Charlie and Noah’s teammates became classmates as well, strengthening the bonds they first formed in the dugout and on the diamond.

The friendships, memories, and experiences created with Blue Lightning have become a special part of their ANSLL story, proving that baseball is about much more than the game itself.

Today, the Soldiers of Howrey Field Day was held at Howrey Field to honor and remember the sacrifice of six U.S. Army Soldiers who tragically lost their lives on June 1, 1967, while participating in a community service project to improve the Howrey Field Recreation Facility.

Let’s remember PVT Charles P. Oliver, PFC Marvin D. Harrison, SPC Kenneth G. Steiner, PVT Charles M. Whaley, PVT Anthony B. Evans, and PVT Paul D. Briggs.

Their selfless dedication to serving others and strengthening the community remains an enduring part of Howrey Field’s history. We remember their sacrifice, honor their legacy, and express our gratitude for their service and commitment to others.🇺🇸

⚾️🎓Tribute to ANSLL’s 12-year-olds 🎓⚾️ Max C’s ANSLL journey began in Tee Ball in 2019. By the time he reached AAA and got the chance to steal home, he was hooked. Seven years later, his love for the game is stronger than ever.

One of Max’s favorite ANSLL memories was winning the 2025 Majors Tournament with the Destroyers—a championship season he’ll never forget.

Max, we are so proud of your kindness, grit, and hard work both on and off the field. Your fearlessness, leadership, and positive attitude shine through no matter what team you’re on. It has been a joy watching you grow as a player, teammate, and young man.

Holly and John would like to thank all of the ANSLL coaches, volunteers, and families for their support throughout the years and for helping create a community that has played such an important role in raising our kids.

Congratulations, Max! We can’t wait to see what’s next for you.
