Association Football Club Ann Arbor is an elite amateur soccer club owned and operated by a diverse group of entrepreneurs, soccer fans and sports professionals. Originally founded in 2014 by Jamey Amrine, the club now operates through its board of directors and a group of dedicated volunteers. We are driven to make an impact in our community, with an emphasis on creating opportunity for our play

Despite his gaudy numbers in Saturday's season finale (a goal and an assist in the 3-2 win), center midfielder Riad Zitouni 🇲🇦 was named Season MVP largely for his impact beyond the stat sheet.

Coach Rod Asllani describes Riad as "a glue guy." Passionate and coachable, all business on the pitch and all chill when he's out and about. He's the kind of player who earns your respect early on, because his instincts and skills make his teammates better.

From here, Riad heads back to Aiken, SC to prepare for his sophomore year and to support his native France 🇫🇷 in the World Cup.

The AFC Ann Arbor men's team finished the season on a five-game heater, with four wins and a draw. They sent off 2026 yesterday with a giddy celebration that already has us excited for 2027 -- especially if we get to welcome as many of them back as possible.

Congratulations, guys! You made us proud all season, and we can't wait to see where your careers take you. Go get it.
