For you guys looking for something more informative while you are supposed to be looking productive, I started a tumbler page last week with random stuff I think about. (and occasionally it seems, write about)

This past couple of weeks I have been super into the potential that PADI and their adventure app has to offer. I was initially feeling that I was super late coming to the party (the app has been out about two years or so) but it turns out I am still on the ground floor and you can be too.

In February, We will be offering the DAN 3.0 Instructor update for those of you who need it.

If you are a DAN Instructor for BLS, Emergency Oxygen Provider or Both, you need to do the update to continue teaching those Programs. On Friday, February 18 at 5:30pm we are offering the course at Divers Incorporated with DAN Instructor Trainer synowiec. The cost of this update is $75 and you can sign up at the link below. You need to have all of the online course work done. Let me know if we need to help you find it, but it is as simple as logging into your DAN Instructor Account and looking under the "Available" Tab.

If you are not a DAN instructor, now is the perfect time to become one. Give us a call and let us know your interest. We can get you on the schedule to get done prior to Spring.

This time off school sitting at home will eventually come to an end. Since you are stuck at home, why not take a dive course ONLINE!

Course Directors, Master Instructors, MSDTs, Instructors, AIs, Divemasters, and even DM candidates are all invited to attend.

They are still looking for a venue for the program. Which will be announced later but the date is solid!

PADI just released the 2020 version of the PADI instructor manual. Instructors and Divemasters should download the new one from the PADI Pros site. if you need any help with getting it, message us and we will try and help you out.

Just Back from DEMA and there are changes coming the the PADI Instructor Development course that will be mind-blowing! The focus next year will be in online training along with workshops that will focus less on passing the instructor exam and more on making you an effective underwater educator that will not need to worry when it comes to the IE.

The focus at our PADI IDC has always been to make effective instructors who can teach in most areas geographically and make money doing it. Once those things are accomplished passing the exam is easy.

PADI Instructor Development Courses are taught by PADI Course Directors – the highest level of Instructor rating – so you will be in safe hands. PADI Course Directors all started out as PADI Instructors so not only do they teach IDCs, they have been through one themselves. Your Course Director may also be assisted by IDC Staff Instructors and Master Scuba Instructors who are all there to help you and ensure your success.

If you like people, love diving, have a passion for travel and a thirst for adventure then becoming a PADI Instructor is the right choice for you. Becoming a PADI Instructor not only allows you to teach diving and share your passion, it enables you to make real differences to people’s lives.

At Divers Incorporated the PADI Instructor Development course is taught three times per year. The IDC consists of 7 - 10 days of intense training including one full day in the open water and time in the pool. There is some home study preparation included as well and you are prepped to start teaching right out of the gate.
