Just as a reminder, Fox Shooting Sports has officially closed. We’re incredibly grateful for all the support and great memories over the years. While we are no longer in operation and will not be returning messages, we sincerely appreciate everyone who was part of our journey.

I know I never post on Facebook, but I gotta put this out there… I am 100% against putting boots-on-ground on American soil. It Is such a slippery slope. I hope there are other veterans out there that feel the same.

If you want war on American soil, you have never seen combat.

After over 13 years of teaching and sharing our passion for shooting sports in central Iowa, it's time for us to move onto the next chapter and time to say goodbye.

What started as a way to help pay for diapers and daycare has turned into a journey filled with incredible memories, plenty of political turmoil, amazing clients, law changes we havent always agreed with, and a community we’ll always cherish. We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who supported us along the way. It has been an honor to serve this area and help countless individuals grow in their skills and confidence.

To all our clients — we appreciate you more than words can express. Thank you for trusting us and being part of the Fox Shooting Sports family.

Fox Shooting Sports is a locally headquartered, veteran owned fi****ms training business in Central Iowa started by Lindsay and Zac Fox. At Fox Shooting Sports, we strive to give the best fi****ms training available not only locally, but anywhere. Among our instructors, we have a combined total of 53 years of fi****ms experience as well as 20 years of real life combat experience in the United States Military. We have spent years training the Iraqi police and military forces as well as AMF/ANA afghan forces to provide a safer environment not only in our home environment, but around the world. We have also received extensive training through the NRA regarding proper teaching methods and shooter technique. We have provided hundreds of hands-on fi****ms training in central Iowa over the last 3.5 years.

Combining both military tactics, NRA etiquette and a survivalist mentality, we can help clients gain shooting experience while teaching them the vital lessons of combat shooting. All of our instructors are U.S. Military Veterans and strive to provide the best and safest training possible. We can assist customers in attaining their Iowa permit to carry, renewing their Iowa, Arizona, Utah and Florida permit to carry and helping them become a much more confident and accurate shooter.

Not only is our staff highly trained in the field of fi****ms, all of our staff is local to Central Iowa and have a great interest in serving the community.
