I have a very bittersweet announcement to make. Bella has been sold and I will be horseless for the first time since I was 12 years old.
This is a decision that I drug out for 5 years. After my first daughter was born I struggled to find the time to ride consistently and adding a new business, then a SECOND child, only compounded the problem.
In the end it comes down to the fact that Bella is MUCH too nice and far too rare to just sit around and do nothing.
The one extremely positive note when it comes to all of this is the fact that Bella has been purchased by a ranch I have admired and respected for many years, Spotted Fawn Paints & QH International. I have absolutely no doubt that Bella will be excellent hands. I couldn't have asked for her to go to a more perfect home. Wendy's vision of the APHA breed is right on par with mine and as such - Bella is a perfect fit within that program.
So keep an eye out for some world class silver APHA foals in the very near future!
