Most pain isn’t from moving.
It’s from losing coordination.

If you’ve said, “Running is bad on my joints,” you’re partially right.

Running on a compressed, poorly coordinated body can be hard on joints.

But running itself isn’t the issue.

When your body loses rotation and the ability to absorb force, stress shifts to the knees, hips, or low back.

Pain isn’t a stop sign.
It’s feedback.

Organize the body first.
Then movement feels smoother — and often pain-free again.

We are offering a FREE Pain & Performance Running workshop to the members of Fitness World and Aspen Athletic Clubs on Monday 1/29 5:30-6:30 in the Fitness World Personal Training Room.

- This workshop will consist of a gait analysis for participants
- Discussing common injuries and how to mitigate them
- Foundational Strength Exercises for runners

MOVEWELL is excited to announce our partnership with Aspen Athletic Clubs Ankeny and Fitness World Clubs. We will be moving into the Aspen Athletic Club with our own newly renovated private space starting August 1st.

We are excited to work together to positively impact our community by helping people reach their health and fitness goals; whether that is increasing strength, losing weight, improving posture, or gaining an athletic edge, all while being able to move confidently pain free.
