Fridays workout was tough but the combo of Deadlifts and squats on this one was terrible.. The two exercises both tightened up your back and you had to really concentrate on your form... Enjoy!!!

Meathead bench day at The Compound... These four exercises were perfect for a 10-1 and it was an awesome workout. 10-9-8-7-6 were all equally hard. But once you get to 5 you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The deload pushups really mess with your Benchpress so choose your weight carefully... Enjoy!!!

Ok so here is Fridays and Mondays workout. I wanted everyone to get to do it so I left it up from Friday. For those that did it Friday I had them either go heavier or lighter for more rounds. A lot of movement going on during this one. Choose your weight carefully... The power cleans and push press were tough at 185.... Enjoy!!!!

"The Suck" is exactly what this WOD was!!! It was hot, miserable and long. None of these exercises were hard if done alone, but when you do them one after another for six rounds with RTBs at the end of every round you get a suck factor that is extremely high... Enjoy!!!

Someone tagged me on a video with this workout so I figured we would give it a shot... Honestly it looks kind of easy compared to a normal day here at The Compound. Well this one fit right in, in was way tougher than it looks and was a real challenge to finish around 15 mins.. It's 400 reps and none of those reps are easy...great job everyone. Enjoy!!!

I put this together for the people that came Friday, because I wanted those that didn't come to get a chance to do Fridays workout. This is pretty much the same motions as Friday and I thought this one would be easier..... NOT!!!!! This one was beyond bad, even with the low weight each round took 10 mins... Sorry guys this one is a kick in the nutts... Enjoy!!!

So I read an article about putting in some extra motivation to do a couple more reps after you feel like your at all you can do. Well these little Motivation exercises made this workout hellish honestly... The burpees were beyond hard after 30-50 thrusters, the de-load pushups made the dips twice as hard, and the row was a welcome break for the bears.... This one will ruin your week... Enjoy!!!

We do crazy out of the box stuff here sometimes, and this is a great example of one of those days. We did a team 5K wheelbarrow push with 130lbs for the girls and 210lbs for the guys...have fun with this one...Enjoy!!!

Ok runners, walkers, strollers, locals, visitors, all stars, beginners, pros, meatheads, crossfitters, Americans, foreign nationals, ok ok pretty much anyone that wants to celebrate Independence Day with a morning 5K through the beautiful valley of Andrews, NC.
