Joint Base Andrews, your Varisty Softball Team played in the Battle of the Bases tournament sponsored by the Washington Nationals on 29-30 Aug against 11 other teams loacted here in the NCR. They won out and advanced to the Championship game at Nationals Park on 26 September after the Washington Nationals play the New York Mets. Ft Belvior vs JBA for the Battle of the Bases Championship!!!!

Our JBA Varisty Softball team will be playing this weekend, 29-30 Aug, on JBAB for Battle of the Bases sponsored by the Washington Nationals. JBA will be playing the winner of Walter Reed and Coast Guard at 1:45pm on Field #2. If JBA advances to the next game it will be at 6:00pm on Field #2 against either Fort Meade, Maryland National Guard, or JB Myers Henderson-Hall. Come out and support our Varsity team as they chase a Battle of the Bases Championship!!!

15-16 Aug our very own Griffins VB Club hosted the Capitol Clash Invitational Volleyball Tournament. The teams that showed up were from Dover AFB, Langley AFB, Seymor Johnson AFB Shaw AFB, Wright Patterson AFB, Moody AFB, JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and JB Andrews. The 3 catorgories were: Mens, Womens, and Coed. The 2026 Capitol Clash Champions are... Wright Patterson AFB Men, Dover AFB Coed, and JBA Lady Griffins!!!!

The Tactical Fitness Center is pleased to announce the upcoming 15th Annual 3 Point Shootout scheduled for 20 August beginning at 1630 hrs.
Eligibility is open to all DoD ID card holders aged 18 and above stationed or assigned to JB Andrews.
