One of the reasons I believe Youth sports are so important is because it teaches life lessons & develops character. In one weekend we had super high highs, and some pretty yucky lows. Isn’t that just like life?! Figuring out how to develop grit and fight back instead of giving up doesn’t come easily, but the softball field offers a place to learn that every game. At the end of the day if I forget that what is happening in this picture is what it’s all about, then I’ve lost sight of why we do this. Every time our team gets together we get the opportunity to speak life into these girls, help them develop character, remind them that being competitive is good and there’s a place for that, but their relationships with one another are more important than their record, and help them remember that we are their biggest fans on and off the field. Just some food for thought today. 🙃-Coach Jenna

WHAT A WEEKEND at Howl ‘O Scream! Andover Aces took Runner Up in a nail biter championship game this evening. They played the best softball they’ve played to date! This team is special, and they awarded our team trophy to our MVP of the whole weekend (especially today)—Pitcher Ellie Hornbaker! 🥎 🥈 🎃 Let’s Go Aces!

We're not just building a team — we're building a family. We believe in the power of strong character, building lasting relationships, and refining skills, both on and off the field. Our 14U team is looking for an athlete or two who is ready to grow in a supportive & positive environment where coaching, mentorship, and teamwork are at the core of everything we do. We prioritize growth, grit, and greatness, because this is about more than just softball. We have built a culture where our players and families love each other, and we protect that culture fiercely!

📆Private tryouts only
📝Pitcher/Utility/OF are our priority positions
📍Our team consists of mostly HS Freshman, so we will play 3-4 fall tournaments and summer only in 2026. Class C in the fall, aiming for B in the summer.

Sometimes things don’t go your way or end up the way you want them to, no matter how hard you dig in and work. That’s a big life lesson for on and off the field. Even though we aren’t bringing home any hardware to show how much growth we’ve made, these girls showed up and showed out this weekend! It’s almost like what’s happening in these pictures is the whole point………..
