We challenge every sportsman’s club in the state to step up and match our contribution. This is our chance the rectify a great wrong inflicted upon the law abiding firearm owners in Connecticut. Let’s celebrate the Constitution State once again supporting and upholding the Constitution!

At the last CCDL General Membership Meeting: Stephen King, Chairman of the Board of Andover Sportsman’s Club and Vice President of Ye Connecticut Gun Guild along with YCGG Member and CCDL Outreach Member David Polowy presented CCDL with checks for $1,000 from each organization.

A challenge issued from Stephen King to all clubs: “donate one thousand dollars to CCDL…”

Thank you to both clubs for their generous contributions and support of our fight in Hartford and now the Supreme Court.

After a 13 year fight, the Supreme Court of the United States has agreed to hear CCDL’s challenge to the Connecticut ban on so-called “assault weapons”. In the year ahead, the attorneys and plaintiffs will be travelling to D.C. to argue the case. A ruling will be made sometime in the 2026 term, which begins in October and ends around July 2027.

The Andover Sportsman's Club is proud to announce a contribution of $1000 to the cause, and now challenges all other sportsman’s clubs throughout our great state to match our contribution. We are finally at the brink of breaking the backs of the anti-gun liberals who have continued to chip away at our constitutional rights year after year. We have one shot at this, and we all need to pool our resources in support of this effort to restore our constitutional rights.
