Curling is back!

Well, the season is over. It’s been a ton of fun, ups and downs, slips and falls. We’ve all made some great plays and swept till our arms were jello. Great job team!

Slightly disappointed that we didn’t make it to the championship game. Stone Cold Killers played a tough game, and shut down a game changing end of 4 points to only give up 1.

Played Take it to the House in the consolation game. Both teams tired and processing their first round losses, we ended it after 4 ends and took the win.

Finished the regular season in 3rd with the highest goal differential. Our 3 loses were from a combined 5 points (2,2,1). And sadly, 2 games we blew a multipoint lead. But if there was one thing to take away from this season so far, the Legion of Broom puts up a fight. If you want to beat us, you better come out swinging...and keep swinging till the final stone is thrown. Playoffs? Bring it on!

Rough start, followed by a strong comeback, just to give up a 3 point lead for a disappointing loss. Silver lining...we face them again next week in round 1 of the playoffs.

Last weeks victory secured us a playoff spot, either #2 or #3 depending on how we do this week against Stone Cold Killers. Regardless, it seems we will play them again the first round of the playoffs.
