A huge thank you to all of our students who joined us throughout our last series of engraving classes!

Through the collaboration between GRS Tools and Griffin & Howe at Hudson Farm we’ve had the privilege of educating 20 students this year, helping them sharpen their skills, explore the craft of engraving, and continue the tradition of fine gunmaking and engraving.

We’re incredibly proud of what our students have accomplished and grateful to everyone who spent a week in the shop learning alongside our instructors and fellow engravers.

Keep an eye out for our 2027 series of engraving classes—we’re looking forward to another great year of learning, creating, and keeping the craft alive.

Beyond Repair? We Think Not.

What once appeared too far gone to save has been brought back to life. This Purdey stock repair is a testament to the skill, patience, and craftsmanship required to preserve a fine gun.

Rather than replace it, our craftsmen restored what was there—carefully repairing the damage while preserving the character, fit, and integrity of the original stock.
