The Pymatuning Area Little League, aka PAYO, is proud to serve the youth in the Pymatuning Area School district, imparting the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play to the children of the community. PAYO is proud to serve the youth in the Pymatuning Area School district, imparting the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play to the children of the community, so that they may som

eday use these values in becoming good citizens. They challenge players toward perfection of physical skills and bring into play the excitement of tactics and strategy. The very nature of baseball and softball also teach that while every player eventually strikes out or is on the losing team, there is always another chance for success in the next at-bat or game. We are a Little League affiliated organization offering Spring/Summer Baseball and Softball and Fall Softball to youth in the Andover (Ohio) area.

Laker community...our new Tball field is up and running! Our kids played their first game tonight on our brand new Tball field and we couldn’t be more proud!

There are so many people and organizations to thank for making this project happen:

- The Ashtabula Fence Company
- Troyer Construction
- CJ Supply
- The Village of Andover, Village Council, and their employees
- The Laker Ruritan Club
- The Andover Township Trustees, who without their support, this project would have taken years, not months, to accomplish
- And the numerous PAYO volunteers who worked and volunteered in the heat, sun, rain, wind and all the other NE Ohio elements.

This investment, which is one of many, in our youth and in our community, is a testament to PAYO’s dedication and commitment to this community and to our families. With that being said, we can’t wait to see what the future brings!

🥎🥇PV Minors SB wins TULINO!🥇🥎

PV Minors player pitch softball team are Tulino Tournament Champions!

They cruised throughout the tournament and finished with a 4-0 record, including pitching a perfect game in the winner's bracket championship!

In the opening round, they beat the Kingsville Krush 10-0. Then moving forward handled the Ashtabula Angels 12-0. The perfect game came in the winner's bracket championship when they beat the Kingsville's Glitter Hitters 9-0 in 3 innings. Finally, for the championship it was a rematch against the Ashtabula Angels and beat them by a score of 9-1.

They were led offensively by Ava Severino, who hit for a perfect 1.000 average with a 4/4 5r 3rbi hr 2(3b) bb 0k stat line. Bella Beight finished the tournament with a .700 batting average going 7/10 from the plate with 8rbi 6r 2b and 2hr. Lila Fisher hit 4/8 .500 3r 2rbi 2b. Kenzlee Orahood finished the tournament hitting .429 (3/7) with 5r 3rbi. The entire team was efficient up at the plate working 34 walks throughout the tournament. Their OBP stat lines are A. Severino (1.000) B. Beight, Logan Hummer and Alexa Clark (.750) K. Orahood (.636) L. Fisher, Carolina Braden and Xacadia Partridge (.600) Aria Thomas and Remi Clark (.500) Ava Lanzara (.333). They were all over those base paths!

B. Beight was outstanding on the pitching rubber throughout the tournament. She finished 4-0 as pitcher of record. She threw 17.0 innings, gave up ONLY 8 base runners the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT! (ZERO hits allowed & 8 base on balls). She had a total of 50 strikeouts and pitched strikes at a 66.8% rate. Even more eye popping is her WHIP (0.47) and ERA (0.00)!

Congratulations girls!
