Super Late Models Return to Shasta Speedway in 2021. Included in photo's are the Rules for 2021
Anderson, CA – After losing an entire race season to Covid-19 in 2020, Shasta Speedway has embarked upon a journey of rebuilding during the 2021 race season. In conjunction with Blair Aiken, Dave Twyman and crew have united to bring back the Super Late Model Series to Shasta Speedway. Consisting of five races, beginning June 19th and continuing to July 3rd (Anderson Explodes), August 14th, September 18th and finalizing October 9th during the Lloyd Burton Memorial.
Due to a possible tire shortage, the series has adopted a new tire rule, competing on a General Tire Presented by Hoosier West with a 400 on the left side and 500 on the right side. Tires will be available for purchase at the track on race days.
Purse will be based on car count. Pit passes on race days are $45 and practice days $35. At this time while the series is building, there will not be an additional entry fee for the car.
Drivers – this is your opportunity to help support the division we all love. Dust your cars off and bring them to the track. Without your support, this will not be successful and the series will not be able to continue to grow. Any and all input is welcome.
