Well here it goes.
We are permanently closed.
Due to me moving, and so hard to sell quality bait at a higher price versus average bait in the corporate world, we are done.
Thanks to all who have supported us the last 9 years, it’s been a great run. Met so many people and have friendships with many because of this little store.
We will start a 50% off of everything in the store around the end of March.
We will be selling all our shirts marked down from 25$ to 10$.
We will still be running a catfish trail for at least another year. I will still have catfish rods, reels, tackle to sell at tournaments.
This was always something I wanted to do since I was a kid. Unfortunately since Covid, the store really don’t have an income to pay all the bills. So much changed after 2020. The last few years it was just fun money, which was just fine also. But I want to move where my heart is, back home.
I have no regrets.
We created controversy with the name with a few neighbors and the county commissioner.
The county blocked our sign.
And with help from so many sharing out status about our road block….
We were on the radio….
We made the front page of the newspaper…
And then FOX59 came calling and we were on TV.
And all of a sudden, the county approved our sign (they said it was lost paperwork)😳🤔
Funny story about that, that I’ve have not shared.
After we did the TV interview, the reporter and his crew asked if they could have some shirts. But they didn’t want anyone to know 😳🤣
I said take all you want and they loaded up😳
We sold thousands and thousand of shirts all across this country. And actually shipped to Australia and England.
So thanks to so many who supported us, even if you came in one time to buy a $3.50 Bee Moth. And if you can, support small business!!! There is another bait and tackle shop just a few minutes from me called Badgers. I’m sure they could also use all the business you can give them. Much love to all🖤
