STATEMENT OF FAITH –
GOD:
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and one God, the Creator of all things, perfect in holiness, power, and love, and worthy of all worship and obedience.(Genesis 1:1–2, 26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
JESUS CHRIST:
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the one and only Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven, where He reigns, and He will return again in power and glory.(John 1:1–5, 14; Luke 1:26–35; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11)
THE HOLY SPIRIT:
We believe the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, convicts people of sin, brings new life to believers, and lives within them. He guides, teaches, and empowers believers to live godly lives and to reflect Christ in all they do.(John 16:8–13; John 3:5–8; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–25)
THE BIBLE:
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith and life. It directs how we live, compete, lead, and treat others.(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
HUMANITY:
We believe that every person is created in the image of God and has inherent worth and dignity. We believe all people have sinned and are in need of God’s grace. Therefore, we are committed to treating every individual—teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials—with respect, compassion, and love.(Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Mark 12:31; Luke 6:31)
SALVATION:
We believe that forgiveness of sins and eternal life are gifts of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe that those who trust in Him are called to repent of sin and live transformed lives in obedience to God.(John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)
THE CHURCH:
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, and is called to unity, love, and service. We believe in encouraging connection to the local church and growing together in faith.(Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Ephesians 4:3–6)
PURPOSE IN SPORTS:
We believe sports are a gift from God and a platform to glorify Him. We are committed to pursuing excellence, integrity, humility, and teamwork. Through athletics, we seek to build character, serve others, and share the message of Jesus Christ.(Colossians 3:23–24; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Hebrews 12:1)
COMMUNITY AND CONDUCT:
We believe we are called to live out our faith in both word and action. As an organization, we strive to create an environment marked by encouragement, accountability, respect, and love. We reject all forms of hatred, discrimination, and unsportsmanlike behavior, and we aim to honor Christ in everything we do—on and off the court.(Galatians 6:2; Philippians 2:3–4; 1 Peter 2:12)
