I am quite sure we are the only sprint car team in the world with a wheel offset measuring tool like this. It is a 1/4" section from a W14x1000 beam used on a project I was involved with last year. What those numbers mean are that nominally it is in the 14" range between the inside flanges and the 1000 means the beam section weighs 1000 #/foot!

Super bummed this event had to be canceled. Monitoring the weather all week looked like this was going to go off without a hitch but mom nature is saying otherwise now. I will have an extra day to ready the dirt car for Atomic next Saturday now.

The yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour event at Jennerstown Speedway Complex scheduled for Saturday, July 11th has been postponed due to forecasted wet weather. At this time, a rescheduled date for the Pennsylvania 50 has not been determined.

I have decided it will be a good weekend to make my 500 Sprint Car Tour debut at a track I really enjoy. Come to Jennerstown, PA Saturday if you can and see some great non wing sprint car action at one of the nicest facilities you will find.

On Saturday, July 11th, a new chapter in the yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour history will be written as the series makes its long-awaited debut at Jennerstown Speedway Complex for the inaugural Pennsylvania 50.

Chance is not to blame for the bottoming out issue we had at Anderson Saturday, that is on me. If I hadn't screwed the timing up when I put the engine back together we would have had two practice sessions to figure it out. I have to thank Quintin Saayman for his help in figuring this out too! Not sure if I owe him more for helping or pelting his beautiful new paint job with that barrage of sparks! I would race wheel to wheel with him anywhere and never worry that he would put a bumper or wheel to me. Glad to see June Saayman and Ashliegh Saayman made their trip here too!

Chance here- managed a 4th place finish tonight at Anderson Speedway with the Tri State Sprints. I feel like I dropped the ball a bit as a crew chief tonight, just was not prepared with stiff enough springs to handle the high banking and high bumps of Anderson. I feel like I owe Dad 3 Tylenol and a heating pad after the ride he had to endure. If racing was easy everyone would do it.

We looked more like the spark show than the Smokeshow tonight, although there was some tire smoke going on too. Enjoy a view of Quintin Saayman working his way around our ill handling machine for 3rd.

American Racer rear tires are mounted for this upcoming weekends race at Anderson Speedway with the Tri-State Sprint Series. The A.R fronts are mounted and on the car already.

This is how our race for the million ended. A broken rocker shaft at the start of the heat race caused our DNF. We would have replaced it and raced our way in through the B-main but couldn't find the head of the broken bolt. It is playing hide-and-seek in the engine somewhere and can't risk that causing even bigger damage. I am pretty sure this started going in qualifying and held us back some in lap speed. Chance, Scott Solem, and I were very disappointed to say the least. Thank you to Quintin Saayman for your help as well.

Practice day is over at Owosso Speedway for this round of the Race For The Million event at likely the finest pavement facilities in the country. Thank you Rex Wheeler for all you are doing to give racers and fans what we have dreamed of!

Practice went fairly smooth and we made the car better each time out on old tires that Joe Liguori And Bobby Santos donated. Our best time places us I believe 14th quick so new rubber tomorrow gives us hope we will be among the real fast guys.
