The Road to Memphis is officially underway.

Since I first shared this, we’ve been rehearsing, refining, planning, fundraising, and figuring out exactly what we want to take into the International Blues Challenge in January.

There’s a lot happening at once — Southern Soul, the duo, new music, Memphis prep — but it all feels like part of the same chapter now.

This photo was taken before our first rehearsal for *Little Shop of Horrors.* Now we’re in tech week, just two days from opening night, and I am so grateful I said yes to stepping into this room as choreographer.

I had nerves at the beginning—not because I didn’t want it, but because it mattered to me. And somewhere between the first rehearsal and this week, the work became real: the movement, the cast, the story, the whole strange and wonderful little world we’ve built together.

You do not have to feel completely ready. Sometimes you say yes, walk through the door, and become the person who can do the next thing.

In less than two weeks, we’re back at The Branch Social in Flowery Branch!
