In life you will have SO many ups and downs, things that may throw you off course, feeling it some days and not at all other days. You will go through many different types of seasons where you’re thriving and then some seasons where you feel your going in reverse…
For the last 2 months I was in the weirdest funk and felt so off and out of my groove…I stuck with it because that is just me, I don’t give up…BUT it was rough! I had some okay days and a whole lot of sh*tty days where I felt like crying, wanted to say to hell with it and wanting to walk out of the gym so many times but I didn’t!
I wanted to share this because what you see on social media, are all the highlights of people’s life and never the lows! Maybe you think they just “got it” and “you don’t” but that’s not true! You have what it takes, but you have to want it bad enough to choose DISCIPLINE rather than giving up, making excuses, or reasons of why you haven’t started! We are all human, and we ALL go through hardships, but those who keep on going are the ones who see results!
I will say it time and time again that you MUST focus on where your mind is at…What are your thoughts? What do you want? What do you believe?…Get your mind right before you focus on changing your habits, your lifestyle, your body etc. I’m not saying it will be easy, but when you fill your head with positivity, you will achieve so much more!
It has been a rough season for me but here we are now in December and I am finally feeling mentally ready for a breakthrough…I’m focused, I’m disciplined, and I’m thriving more than ever!
