In life you will have SO many ups and downs, things that may throw you off course, feeling it some days and not at all other days. You will go through many different types of seasons where you’re thriving and then some seasons where you feel your going in reverse…

For the last 2 months I was in the weirdest funk and felt so off and out of my groove…I stuck with it because that is just me, I don’t give up…BUT it was rough! I had some okay days and a whole lot of sh*tty days where I felt like crying, wanted to say to hell with it and wanting to walk out of the gym so many times but I didn’t!

I wanted to share this because what you see on social media, are all the highlights of people’s life and never the lows! Maybe you think they just “got it” and “you don’t” but that’s not true! You have what it takes, but you have to want it bad enough to choose DISCIPLINE rather than giving up, making excuses, or reasons of why you haven’t started! We are all human, and we ALL go through hardships, but those who keep on going are the ones who see results!

I will say it time and time again that you MUST focus on where your mind is at…What are your thoughts? What do you want? What do you believe?…Get your mind right before you focus on changing your habits, your lifestyle, your body etc. I’m not saying it will be easy, but when you fill your head with positivity, you will achieve so much more!

It has been a rough season for me but here we are now in December and I am finally feeling mentally ready for a breakthrough…I’m focused, I’m disciplined, and I’m thriving more than ever!

When it comes to your fitness journey, you must work on the one thing that will lead you to success…𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒𝐄𝐓💭

Focus your mind on positive thoughts…Instead of focusing on the things that you are giving up, or how hard it is, or feeling like it’s a job…

Focus on what you are GAINING from it, feeling good inside, being healthier, feeling happier, getting fitter, feeling good in your skin, becoming stronger, feeling confident, etc.

Keep in mind…what you fill your mind with often is what you will believe and what you think, is what you will achieve!

Get your mind right, and your body will follow🤍

Prioritize your Fitness and pay attention to how it affects your attitude, health, & mood and you will see how it only changes your life for the better!

So today, I encourage you to get up and move your body, because that’s what it was made to do… it can be as simple as taking a walk, riding your bike, playing with your kids, lifting some weights, going for a run, etc.

Just get up and get moving and you will appreciate the positive energy and good vibes that come from it!

HERE’S to 36!

Celebrating my birthday yesterday was just another reminder that AGE is just a number!

It does not define YOU or your STRENGTH or what you are CAPABLE OF!

What I can say is that living a lifestyle of health and fitness makes you feel a whole lot younger & if I didn’t know any better I’d say I was 10 yrs younger🤣

REMINDER…
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve already got!

So I my advice is, start where you are and DO what you can do now, so that you can do even more later! Don’t wait around wishing and then soon regretting that you didn’t get to see your full potential!

YOU ARE MADE FOR MORE!

The only way to get the body that you want, is by moving the body that you already have!

I know it’s always easier said than done, and it takes a lot of hard work…

But if you choose to look at it in a different point of view, rather than thinking of it as a job and instead thinking of it as an opportunity to grow mentally, physically, and just feel better overall, you will begin to appreciate the fact that you have a healthy and strong body that is fully capable of doing it.

Your mentality plays a huge role and when you choose to think positive, you will have more motivation to put in the hard work that it takes AND with that you will always reap the rewards!

If you’ve been struggling to stick to a routine, keep falling off track, or you don’t have a clue of where to even begin, it may be that time to consider investing in yourself and hiring a coach to guide you and hold you accountable.

Even the best of the best hire coaches, (including myself) because we all need that accountability at times and there is ALWAYS more room to grow!

I have never given up on myself…I’ve had MANY setbacks, many obstacles to overcome, and I’ve learned from trial and error! There will always be difficulty when reaching for success…But that’s what makes it the greatest accomplishment when you do succeed!

Think of your fitness and health as a lifestyle & priority and do it on a daily basis EVEN when you feel least motivated and remember this…Excuses are not your friend!!!

Don’t think of it as an end point or reaching a specific goal! Goals are great but don’t allow that “goal” to be the only reason you do it…Because when you are so focused on that end goal, and it takes a lot longer than expected, it may discourage you to the point of saying to hell with it & giving up!

BE STRONG!
WORK HARD!
THINK POSITIVE!
PRACTICE SELF-DISCIPLINE!

Todays workout was rough🥵But that’s just the way I like it!

I’ve learned to appreciate hard & intense workouts because it makes me stronger mentally & physically, brings results, & the after effect of those endorphins feels amazing!

Don’t chase easy, it won’t take you anywhere! Learn to embrace the hard, it’s worth seeing what your body is capable of, and once you see results you’ll understand why you must push through!

Keep working my friends, and remember that when you feel like throwing in the towel, your results may be right around the corner!

Ladies AND Men…if you want to gain strength, create a stronger core, improve athleticism, support your lower back & posture, & prevent injuries you MUST work your backside! Plus who wants a flat butt!

Your glutes are the biggest muscle and the powerhouse to your body. Work them at least 2-3x per week and watch your strength & performance increase…I promise, it’s a game changer😉
