HCTC Fishing Team had a great day on Lake Hartwell on Saturday, November 22. Landon Hoover finished in 2nd place for middle school with 3 fish totaling 6.56 pounds! Holden Cone and Re*****on Cobb finished in 11th for the high school with 5 fish weighing 11.53 lbs! The middle schoolers finished in 1st place while the high schoolers finished in 2nd. There were nearly 300 boats on the water!

Congratulations to the anglers who competed on Saturday on Lake Russell in Georgia, SC.

Three teams finished in the top 10 out of 57 boats at the middle school level: Jax Adams and Jace Wiley (2nd place), Logan Smith and Spencer Cothran (5th place), and Bryson Barker and Grady Hopper (6th place). HCTC won first place overall at the middle school level. There were 17 middle schools competing.

At the high school level, 3 teams finished in the top 10 out of 143 boats: Ty Dickson and Lawson McMahan (7th place), Holden Cone and Remi Cobb (8th place), and Cole Dobbs and Drake Smith (9th place). HCTC finished 3rd place overall out of 22 schools.

Good morning everyone! Several folks have asked about ordering additional jerseys or fishing team sweatshirts. Kevin Sanders and his team at KnockOut Sports have worked diligently to get the store up and running for us. The store will close in 2 weeks on October 12 at 11:59PM. It will take 4-6 weeks from the day the store closes before items will be shipped. We must have a minimum of 8 items ordered.

Congratulations to the HCTC Fishing Team for finishing in first place for both the middle school and high school! Bryson Barker and Grady Hopper took 2nd place with 3 fish weighing in at 7.35 lbs for the middle school while Cole Ulrich and Carson Miller also took 2nd place for the high school with 5 fish @ 14.81 lbs! Hunter Bolt and Zander Morton finished in 5th with 5 fish @ 14.22 lbs. Great job HCTC anglers and captains!
