As each basketball season ends, there are many emotions that come - just a few below from a coach’s perspective:
Gratefulness - as a coach I am thankful for these ladies and the effort they put in all season. We may not always please everyone, but these ladies have put in a lot of effort all season and have really grown.
Pride - I am proud of the battles faced, and just proud of each girl. I am also proud of our guys, and our coaches, for the effort all of them put in for so long during this great season! I am proud to work with the basketball coaching staff as well, we all pour a lot of positivity and love into (and lose a lot of sleep over) these kids and it’s really cool to see that pay off.
Sadness - sadness is always comes at the end of season, for the seniors especially. They are all awesome kids, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for them!
Thank you to the girls and to the families who have supported my coaching and these ladies all season long. Thank you for the trust in the semi-state trip - we had an awesome time! Thank you to the people who donated to make it happen!
Your Liberty Christian family is behind you even now as the season ends, cheerleaders and basketball players - and we are so proud of you! Great job this season!!
