Now that we have officially dropped the news id like to take a moment and thank everyone for the past 10 years of owning a baseball / softball training facility. You see this was not intended as a business adventure it was a handshake amongst 10 guys i will always consider friends. We agreed to do our part and have a place our kids could practice. After a few years and people coming and going i decided to really invest out side of the previous investment. We went out and got good equipment, we got a 30,000 sq ft building and spent alot of money. We had trainers we had alot of space, alot of members and even started growing the baseball team side of things. It was great and a way of life for me. Family, friends, and my regular job all suffered from this hobby of mine i decided to grow into a business. As time marched on i grew away from it, after having to move into a much smaller building i began to lose interest, however i was still not ready to end it. Now the time has come for me to take a step back and focus on Appliance One, Family and Friendships. I am so thankful to be handing this off to friends who were there from day 1. So as i end this id like to personally thank each and everyone who has ever helped me with Allstar Athletics, the support and the help will always be remembered. Thank you to every member, coach and player we have had over the years.

Please follow the new AA page and support the new owners on this new endeavor. The bring more energy and passion than have been able to put into it and it something that has really grown for our young players. Please continue to support AA and the new owners.

Tryouts today have been cancelled!!! The fields are to wet, and weather today will get worse by the hour. Please reach out byvtext message to Billy to schedule a private evaluation if you are new player that has not played with us.

For all those parents of youth baseball, let last night's ending to the Phillies/Dodgers be a lesson.

The game is hard. Arguably, the most difficult sport in the world to be consistently good at.

Beyond the mere physical skill aspect, the game is as much if not more mental than physical.

Last night, we saw a professional player in a high pressure moment allow the panic to set in and make a mistake.

He's being chastised by the fans, many of who enjoy the game but don't truly understand how difficult it is.

He was comforted by those around him who truly know the game.

The isolation and aloneness he must have felt in that moment must have been soul crushing.

We've seen multiple physical errors in these playoffs by the people at the top of this game.

The pro players have pressure from thousands who don't know them personally.

Your player can feel that same level of pressure from you because with you it's personal.

So the next time your 12 year old makes a bad throw, boots a grounder in the field or does something dumb on the bases, have some grace and patience and remember it's part of the game.
