Sports Car Club of America, Arctic Alaska Region

Sports Car Club of America, Arctic Alaska Region The SCCA, Arctic Alaska Region, has served the grassroots Alaskan Motorsports scene since being founded in 1988 to have a home for Road Rally.

Sanctioning of events has expanded to Solo aka Autocross with events from Homer to Fairbanks and starting RallyCross within Alaska. We have held two Fire & Rescue Schools for all motorsports organizations and will continue examining Club Racing as a viable sanctioning opportunity in Alaska. A volunteer based Club, the Sports Car Club of America has over 115 Regions across the United States who offer opportunities for their membership to Club Race, RoadRally, Solo aka Autocross and RallyCross!

So, call it superstitious, but the only time I have ran an autocross since Chad decided he had enough of me, in all seriousness yesterday was the first autocross I have ran without it....result, 4th in Expert, 1 clean run out of 8 and 15 cones! I think my wrist was to light and it threw me off. Today...epic battle with Adam in his GT3 at PCA Alaska, and it's 1st in Expert, 1st in Porsche Cup! I love the R but Cookie Monster is an absolutely epic automobile. Thanks to everyone both days! Adam Poolé , Mike Miranda , Austin Nichols , Kevin Cose for the close competition! On to the Bristol Pro and Tour. Tim Pearson get Rosita ready!
