Energetics: Deep yin, blood moving downward
TCM Focus: Nourish Blood, support Kidneys, gently move Liver
Common patterns: Fatigue, cold, low back ache → Kidney yang + Blood deficiency
Move slowly and keep the body warm, add breath to the kidney space (back of body below ribs, deep slow breathing)
Yin yoga is great for perimenopause too, helps stimulate qí flow and calm the nervous system. Come try a class or find time in the comfort of your own space to chill out. I highly recommend finding a ray of sunshine and a furry friend nearby.
