JBER let’s put our hands together and Congratulate SSA 725 BSB for returning for the challenge of the Combat Cross Country Trail Run. 1st place goes to the SSA 725 BSB and the fastest runner is PFC Dipak Rai. Thank you SSA 725 BSB for taking the challenge see you on July 24, 2026 at Otter Lake for the CCC Canoe, Run and Shoot. Thank you to Buckner Maintenance crew and the Facility Manager Gloria Bechtol for always being on point.

And it’s a beautiful day for the Combat Cross Country Trail Run! Activity Duty-5 person team, 35lb Ruck, ACU’s and Combat boots. We have the SSA 725 BSB taking the challenge. This is a 3 mile lake run.

JBER The Combat Cross Country Trail Run is this Friday, June 12th at 1pm at Otter Lake. The weighin and briefing is from 1pm to 1:30pm. The race starts at 2pm. Get you team of 5, your 35lb ruck and combat boots. Just like in the picture. Teams participating receive Commander Cup Points. If you have any questions contact JBER Sports at 907-384-1312

Mental Health and Buckner Fitness Center pushed off a 5K Fun Run. We are recognizing Mental Health Awareness Month. Here are the 1st and 2nd place runner from both Male and Female Divisions: 1st Place
Male- Juan Jimenez 17:39, Female :Emilia Mancini at 24:42.
The 2nd Place Male: Daniel Lurykanish at 17:55 and Female
Ryane Preciado at 24:50.( I apologize in advance for any misspelled names) Great race we had 300 sign up runners.
