I just found out we’re in the running for Anchorage Daily News best of Alaska…

And while we know “winning” in yoga isn’t a real thing… a little friendly competition never hurt. And to me, it’s more of a reflection of our community and how this practice and studio resonates with people and empowers those who attend.
I opened Burn & Bloom in 2018… and I really believe this is my life’s work/ so regardless of an “award” I’m already winning baby!!!

I have a love hate relationship with Alaskan summers.
It just all feels so manic. (And for an already naturally unregulated girly… it ain’t good)

We’re so sun deprived that once we see it, we feel like we have to do ALL the things ALL the time.
And with 20 hours of daylight that just means we have MORE time to be MORE productive because we sure as hell aren’t going to waste it.
I get it. I really do. But come on- it’s exhausting. And then we blink and it’s over and it’s fu***ng cold and dark again.

Slow down.
Soak it in.
The sunshine WILL fuel you.
But it can also warm you. And soften you.
Let it HEAL you.
