My original purpose was to find the techniques that were what we call 90 percenters. These techniques would work against an uncooperative opponent. Through thousands of hours of full-contact sparring, we reached several very telling conclusions. The most important to us was that every art had techniques that worked, but some were dependant on physical attributes, while other depended on speed and

accuracy of ex*****on. In finding these truths to be universal we set out to train martial artists based on their personal attributes. this is why no PFA USA teacher looks or moves the same. The art constantly evolves based on the teacher and the student. We practice and full-contact spar in every range of combat, again utilizing only what works. Our belief is that to be an effective fighter and martial artist you must be accomplished in every range. AT PFA USA we continue to push the envelope to improve ourselves and to improve the art.
