The Sullivan Arena was opened in February 1983 and, since that time, has been a mainstay in the entertainment scene in Anchorage. The Sullivan Arena is a multi-use facility, complete with an Olympic-size ice rink, with an insulated floor covering for basketball, concerts, and trade shows.
