Welcome to Alaska On Belay, LLC
A one of a kind, one-on-one guided rock climbing adventure with rock climbing enthusiasts:
Kenny and Hannah Steck. I (Kenny) have a Bachelors degree in Outdoor Studies from Alaska Pacific University. A former Marine, I have over five years of Firefighting and EMT experience. I was allured to Alaska by the breathtaking mountains and the longing I had for more advent

ure, I quickly fell in love with rock and ice climbing. I successfuly completed an indepth Climbing Systems course that taught me advanced skills involved with rock climbing, and spend a lot of concentrated time learning from professional climbers. I am continuing to further my education and certifications. I am passionate about sharing with others the thrill of Alaska that I have come to love. I met Hannah a couple years into the adventure, and our dreams collided. I (Hannah) have Alaska in my blood. I grew up in a small town several hours from Anchorage and enjoy spending time in the mountains. I am a trained nurse, and I moved to Anchorage for a nursing job in the Intensive Care Unit at Alaska Native Medical Center. I started climbing with friends as something new and fun to do, and I fell in love with it. I got into the mountains as often as I could. And then I met Kenny... a skilled rock climber and instructor who is well respected in the climbing community. We fell in love in the adventurous Alaskan terrain and were married in June of 2014. We both love the outdoors, and love sharing the beauty we've found in the mountains with anybody who will join us. We both completed Wilderness First Responder certificaiton as we prepared to start our own rock climbing business in the mountains we call home. "The mountains are calling..." Rock Climb in Alaska! It's a memorable experience overlooking breathtaking views and an epic way to spend an afternoon!
