A lot of work went into the new side of the gym (and we will continue to improve.
It looks very different than a standard gym, and that’s intentional. Because we’re not a standard gym.
However, we didn’t just do a different look for the sake of being original.
I was heavily inspired by the wood paneling of classic weightlifting halls across Europe, as well as by Japanese architecture and the vibe of a dojo.
This side is meant to be a place for the pursuit of excellence. It’s a place to let go of the outside world, become present and focus on becoming the best version of yourself you could possibly dream of becoming.
The mural Kyle Madrid designed and painted is a great addition and will be the backdrop for our Sandbag Samurai YouTube channel (filming this week)
Colton Dalzell | Coach @ Hunter’s Garage Gym was a huge help in building out this new side
And Kyler Moser made the woodworking possible. We would have no unique identity without him.
Also big thanks to all the boys (and girls that poured the sweat into this project, getting paid only in beer and vibes, just because they can’t help themselves when they see a friend working towards a goal.
