This past Saturday, our boys and girls teams competed at two major events — the Valencia Girls Tournament and the Scott Davis Invitational hosted by Mater Dei High School. We are incredibly proud of all our athletes for their hard work and dedication!

🥉 Dina earned 3rd place at the girls tournament.
🏅 Yair finished 7th place at the boys tournament.

Today was a truly historic moment for Loara Wrestling.

After almost a decade, our program fought its way back to the podium and brought home a 3rd-place plaque 🥉 This isn’t just a win, it’s the story of resilience, long nights, early mornings, and a team that refused to give up.

This moment represents pride, heart, and the return of something our community has been waiting for.

Hello Saxons! Hopefully everyone is well.
The wrestling season is well underway and the team is looking good. Coach Moreno has done a great job bring the program back to life!

Recently, and unfortunately, we have lost one of our founding fathers, Dr. John Dahlem. In his memory, they have dedicated the room and outside wall to him. JOIN US, the live presentation will be January 27th at 4:15, outside the wrestling room. There will be an agenda and a MC. If you have any ideas or would like to present something *must be approved by admin* please contact Coach Moreno. Stay around afterwards and support our fellow Saxons as the dual Magnolia.

This a big night for the program. All former wrestlers, donators, and supporters are welcomed to come. Let’s get out there and show our support for the current Saxon wrestlers!

Wrestling season is underway!
The team is growing, and growing fast.
Coach Moreno has done an amazing job bringing this program back to life.

This year the fundraiser is a blast of fan gear! 80% of the proceeds will go straight back to the program! Many different styles, colors, and logos are offfered. If you’d like to you can also just donate, no need to buy cloths.

They are in need of new wrestling mats, and funds for future tournaments. It’s not easy running a program, let’s help them out as much as we can!

& just like that.. the wrestling season is over!

First, congratulations to our CIF qualifiers!
Karen Hernandez, Gerald Garcia, Brian Torres, and Kethan Katim. Great work. Thank you for representing Loara loud and proud.
All 4 will be returning next year!

Second, we’d like to thank Coach Daniel Moreno. Coach Moreno took over the program and has done a great job rebuilding the program from the ground, up. With his dedication and determination, he is off to a great start. We look forward to see what the future has in store for our mighty Saxons.

Third, thank you to all the supporters, boosters, parents, and alumni! Without your contributions and assistance, none of this would be possible. These kids and this program need our help! Forth & Final, we all know there is no real end to the wrestling season. But off season starts NOW! “Off season” practices are Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday 3:30pm-6:30pm. If you know anyone interested in joining please get them to these practices so they can begin their journey as soon as possible. We are looking to grow the team and the community with these sessions. Fun and easy practices make it great for beginners or those with no experience. It’s also great work for returning wrestling to dial in their skills for the upcoming year.
